We hope to reschedule this event when conditions have sufficiently improved.

Chef Sean MacDonald has opened his much anticipated debut space: ēst Restaurant, an intimate Dinner & Cocktail venue in the vibrant Queen Street East community of Riverside, Toronto. Fresh from his recent 2018 World Ranking of #221 at “The Top 300 Chef Awards” in Milan, Sean is honoured to be the only Canadian Chef recognized on this exclusive world list.
Formerly the Executive Chef of Hexagon and 7 Enoteca restaurants in Oakville, his menu brought Hexagon to being the highest rated new restaurant of 2017 by Toronto Life Magazine with an impressive 4.5 of 5 Star Rating and ultimately the ranking of 4th Best New Restaurant the following year in 2018.
The native Calgarian graduated from the Professional Cooking Program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and began his role as Executive Chef at Market Restaurant in Calgary at the age of only 23. After being named a 2016 Game Changer, he was featured on the cover of BRANDED Magazine’s 2016 winter issue.
In June 2016 he won the Canadian title for the San Pellegrino Young Chef Competition and represented Canada in the World Championships in Milan, Italy. In August 2016, Chef Sean MacDonald was the Official Chef of Diner en Blanc Calgary and is currently a contributing columnist to Canada’s Globe and Mail Newspaper and is also a Canadian Brand Ambassador for All-Clad Metal crafters LLC, Le Nouveau Chef Apparel, Ceaserstone and Garland.
