IWFS has been following Natalie McLean for many years now. The latest post from Natalie is below. I’ve reposted it here, as some of you may be interested in tastings and Natalie’s new book. IWFS, if you’d like to be part of the launch team, please let me know. This isn’t a big time commitment. I’d be asking you to do a few quick but important things over the next month. Even if you haven’t read the book yet, you can help by telling a friend about it. Every little bit helps. If you’re interested, please hit reply to this email. Your support would mean the world to me and you’ll be part of a small, but mighty group of people who believe in this book’s message of hope, justice and resilience. |

I would get to the end of a chapter and think one more and suddenly it would be 2 a.m. l loved the titles of the chapters. I enjoyed her writing style. Being very visual I could imagine her mother sitting at her kitchen table or meeting her at a highland dance event where she was performing. My husband and I debated the title of this book and I told him you have to read the whole book to see what is involved. I personally liked the title a lot and equated it to the Phoenix rising from the ashes. I love the references to witches. We celebrate la festa della Befana. This Befana really likes Vin Santo and cantucci for the gifts she brings. I liked how her book ends as a book of healing and how you interpret it depends on who you are. To me it’s a coming-of-old-age “about creating my own labels rather than accepting those others slapped on me”. 5 stars Thank you, Rosanne! | | Niagara Launch *** Just a few tickets left Save your spot for this book launch event and tasting > | | Treat yourself to an exclusive book launch party and wine tasting in Niagara on Saturday, May 13th! - Savour four outstanding wines as I guide you in a private wine tasting
