The IWFS-Toronto members and their guests gathered at Coppi's Restaurant to blind taste six Cabs from the Branch's cellar. Our Cellar Master, David Jarvis, provided an excellent introduction and distributed a briefing note which contained subtle hints which helped us to identify the wines through regional characteristics. David also generously donated a delightful Hungarian red from his personal cellar as a mystery wine.
Following the tasting and ensuing discussion we enjoyed Coppi's much admired mixed meat grill, and headed out into the Arctic chill well prepared and entirely satisfied.
