first IW&FS Dinner
In 1971 when the IW&FS of Toronto had its first dinner there were 100 branches world wide. To day there are over 150. The Toronto branch started in the ‘70s and is still going strong with an increasing membership of well travelled and knowledgeable members.
William Santo is still a member to this day. In 1972 he started on a voyage of learning and has never stopped.
In 1974 things were cheaper, and Watergate was alive and well. Soviet ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov defects in Toronto. Bill 22 is passed making French the official language of government and business in Quebec.

In 1974 Toronto started exploring to the delights of the world.
1977 the the wines were just as good.. oh to have a Chateau L’Angelus 1970 to day.....
